Smt. Vibha Medhi is 52 years old. She was taught weaving by her mother. All the women in her family weave. She specialises in weaving Eri silk but in between orders she weaves fabric for her family to use.

Shri. Medhi is supportive of his wife’s profession. He is a farmer who also works in Eri sericulture. The couple are very keen that their children get a good education.
